Your account and the About screen

Your account lists every place your Tobren sign-in is used: each Tobren product and each organization you belong to, with your role there and a link. It exists because one sign-in covers more than one product, so resetting a password in one place affects the others.

If the list can’t be completed, the page shows what it knows plus a row saying other places may exist and which product didn’t answer. It never claims you use Tobren nowhere else from an incomplete answer. If you belong to no organization yet, it says so.

About shows the application’s build, labelled plainly as the API build, and, on anything other than production, which environment you are on, so a screenshot from a test environment can’t be mistaken for the real thing. A local development build says “Development build” rather than inventing a version number. It also lists ways to get help. While a trial or payment grace period is running, About carries a marker with the time left that leads to the plan choice; see Plans & billing. For bugs and ideas, use the Feedback button in the app.

To ask a question or report a problem you need an answer to, choose Contact support on About, or in the footer at the bottom of any page. Write a subject (up to 200 characters) and a message (up to 5,000), then Send message. Tobren Operations sends it to the support team for you, so it works the same whether you use web mail or a desktop mail program. There is no mail program to open.

  • Where the reply goes. Replies come to the email address on your Tobren account. When the message is sent, the screen says “Sent. We’ll reply to” followed by that address.
  • Your email must be verified. If it isn’t, the form tells you, because support would have no address it can trust to answer. Verify it, then try again.
  • What support sees. Your message, your workspace’s name and ID, your user ID, the page you were on, and the app version. Nothing else about your account is attached.
  • Limits. You can send 5 messages an hour, and your whole workspace 20. If you reach the limit, the form says so and asks you to wait.
  • If sending fails. The form shows the support address with a Copy button. Paste it into your own mail program. The same address appears, as text you can select with a Copy button, in the footer, on About, and on the Terms and Privacy pages. On the sign-in page, where there is no account to send from, only the address is shown.

Feedback is different: it goes to the product team as a bug report or idea, and it does not record your email address, so nobody can reply to it. Use Contact support when you need a reply.
