Checklists

Checklists are reusable templates your crew runs and signs off — pre-flight inspections, inventory scans, packing lists, and anything else that recurs across a shoot or a show. Find them under Checklists in the nav.

Two kinds of template live side by side:

  • System defaults — platform-shipped templates (a pre-flight inspection, and inventory scan-in/scan-out) that are ready to run without any setup.
  • Your templates — templates your organization authors, like a packing list or a custom prep step. These are fully editable and deletable; the system defaults are read-only but always runnable.

Every template is scoped to where it applies: per event (a packing list for the whole show), per airframe per event (a prep step for one aircraft), or per sortie (a battery swap or post-flight check that repeats every time an aircraft flies again).

Run a checklist from the Checklists page, choosing the event, airframe or scheduled flight it is for, or in context from an event or an aircraft. Opening a checklist shows its items as checkboxes, with a note field per item; Check all ticks every item in one action (and Clear all undoes it). Complete & sign records who ran it and when. Unchecked required items don’t block sign-off: you are asked to confirm completing anyway. A signed record can’t be edited.

A checklist can be tied to a phase of a flight — a full pre-flight inspection before the first launch, a lighter interim / battery swap check before each battery swap or relaunch, a post-flight check after the last landing, and a pack-out check once per event, run from the event’s Pack-out section. The interim check re-arms after each landing, since a real event flies the same airframe more than once.
